3. Provision of the website and creation of logfiles

Every time our Internet site is called up, our system engages in the automated collection of data and information of the computer doing so. The following data is thereby collected:

(3) The IP address of the retrieval device

(4) Date and time of access

(5) Websites and resources (images, files, other page content) that were accessed on our website

This data is stored in the log files of our system. Storage of this data together with the personal data of a specific user does not take place, so that identification of an individual visitor to our site does not occur.

  • Purpose of the data processing

    Logging takes place to maintain the compatibility of our website for as many visitors as possible and to combat the misuse thereof and for purposes of troubleshooting. To do so, it is necessary to log the technical data of the retrieving computer, in order to react as soon as possible to errors in presentation, attacks upon our IT systems and/or errors in the functionality of our website. In addition, the data enables us to optimize the website and to generally ensure the security of our technical information systems.

  • Duration of storage

    The aforementioned technical data will be erased as soon it is no longer necessary to ensure the compatibility of the website for all visitors, however, at the latest, 3 months after the website has been retrieved.

  • Objection and removal

    The opportunities to object and remove are based on the general rules governing the right to object and a claim for deletion under data protection law subsequently described in this data protection statement.

4. Integration of external web services and the processing of data outside of the EU

On our website, we use active JavaScript content from external providers, so-called web services. 6. Data security and data protection, communication by email

    We hereby expressly point out that our mail system uses an automated archiving process. All incoming and outgoing emails are thereby digitally archived in a revision-proof manner.

    Art. 6 Par.1 letter f DSGVO (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest consists of the compliance with tax and commercial law requirements [e.g. B. §§ 146, 147 AO (Abgabenordnung = German Tax Code)].


  • Purpose of the data processing

    The purpose of the archiving is to comply with tax and commercial law requirements (e.g., §§ 146, 147 AO).

  • Duration of storage

    The storage of our mail communication takes place until the expiration of tax and commercial law retention requirements. The storage period can be up to 10 years.

  • Objection and removal 

    Regarding questions concerning our mail archiving system, please contact our data protection officer. We also wish to point out that we only consider application documents in PDF file format. Zipped (WinZip, WinRAR, 7Zip, etc.) files are filtered out by our security systems and not delivered. Applications in Word file format and other file formats do not receive our attention and are deleted unread. Please note that unsolicited application documents sent by email may possibly be opened by third parties before they arrive at our IT systems. We assume that we can also answer unencrypted application mails in an unencrypted fashion. If you do not wish this to be the case, please inform us to this effect in your application mail.

8. Revocation of consent - Data information and modification wishes - Erasure & blocking of data

According to the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), you have a right to free information concerning data stored about you, as well as a right to the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. Your data will be deleted, if this is not contrary to law. You may revoke any permission that you have given to us to use your personal information at any time. 9. Right to data portability

You have a claim that we provide you with the personal information that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Moreover, you may also request that we promptly provide this information to a third party at your first instruction to do so, provided that the processing is carried out based on consent in accordance with Art. 6 Par. 1 letter a DSGVO or Art. 9 Par. 2 letter a DSGVO or based on a contract in accordance with Art. 6 Par. 1 letter b DSGVO and processing is undertaken by us as part of automated data processing.
In exercising this right of data portability, you also have the right to obtain personal data relating to you that was transmitted directly from one data controller to another, to the extent this is technically feasible. Freedoms and rights of other persons may not be affected hereby.
The right to data portability does not apply to the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a task in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority delegated to the data controller.


10. Complaints to supervisory authorities in accordance with Art. 77 Par. 1 DSGVO


If you suspect that your data has been processed unlawfully on our site, you can of course always seek judicial clarification of the matter. Regardless thereof, you also have the option of contacting a supervisory authority. The right to complain is open to you in the EU Member State of your residence, your workplace and/or the place of the alleged infringement, i.e. you can choose the supervisory authority you are looking for at the above locations. The supervisory authority to whom the complaint has been submitted will then inform you of the status and results of your petition, including the possibility of a judicial remedy pursuant to Art. 78 DSGVO.
