At our headquarters in Achern‑Fautenbach, we are taking another major step toward an independent and climate‑friendly future with our fischer Energy Ecosystem. A key milestone of the project are two state‑of‑the‑art wind turbines located in immediate proximity to our company site, scheduled for completion in early 2027. With a hub height of 162 meters and a total height of 250 meters, they will make a significant contribution to clean power generation. Combined with our existing photovoltaic systems, they will enable us to cover up to 70% of our total energy demand from renewable sources — a major leap in reducing our carbon footprint.
What makes this project especially impactful is its seamless integration into our operations. The electricity generated is used immediately for our manufacturing processes. This direct energy supply allows us to operate with maximum efficiency and sustainability — producing a large share of the required energy right where it is consumed.
And we’re thinking even further ahead. In the next phase, the renewable electricity generated on site can be used to produce green hydrogen, enabling us to reduce emissions even further and strengthen our long‑term environmental impact.
Construction of the wind turbines has already begun and is proceeding exactly according to plan. We look forward to the next steps on this exciting journey.
