fischer Edelstahlrohre awarded as honorary office friendly employer

Interior Minister Thomas Strobl awards Hans Fischer certificate

In 2018, a total of 41 honorary office friendly employers in civil protection were awarded in Baden-Württemberg. These include the fischer Edelstahlrohre in Achern. The award-winning companies enable their employees to volunteer for the good of the community during working hours. They are always ready to work in emergencies such as natural disasters, fires, traffic accidents and other casualties. “With this award, we as a state want to provide these employers with our recognition and appreciation,” emphasized Thomas Strobl, Deputy Prime Minister of Baden-Wuerttemberg and Minister of the Interior, Digitization and Migration, at the presentation of the certificate to Hans Fischer. “For us, the release of the firefighters and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief is actually a matter of course. But of course I am also happy about the public recognition for it,” Hans Fischer comments with a smile.

At fischer in Achern, several fire brigade and members of the Federal Agency for Technical Relief are employed so that in cases of emergency several emergency forces can be immediately released and are available. This helps the city of Achern to meet the necessary daily availability of the fire brigade – and to provide faster and possibly life-saving assistance in an emergency.
