50 years of the fischer group

From a one-man company to a global group with 2700 employees
At the beginning of June the fischer group, which is based in Achern-Fautenbach in Germany's Baden-Württemberg, celebrated its 50th anniversary with customers, business partners and employees. With an annual turnover of around 780 million euros, it is the world's second-largest manufacturer of stainless steel tubes and components. The group comprises 23 companies in Germany, Canada, South Africa, Mexico, the USA, Austria, China, Uruguay and Denmark with a global workforce of around 2700 people. The festivities took place under the motto of "worldwide. family." as a reference to the family corporate culture that company founder Hans Fischer also continues to maintain personally to this day.

Trusting atmosphere
The company founder knew from an early stage that "We're nothing on our own", and from the beginning opted for personal and trust-based togetherness. The resulting working atmosphere consistently spurs all the international subsidiaries on to ever-increasing maximum achievements. So not only was the manufacture of longitudinally welded stainless steel tubes on pipe machines that the company had developed itself continuously perfected, but it also developed more and more sophisticated methods and technologies in pipe processing, such as axial shaping, bending, embossing, stamping, separating, joining, annealing and internal high-pressure forming for the production of increasingly complex forms and components made of exclusive pipes.
