Funding approval for green hydrogen

We are proud to be one of eight companies receiving funding through the ELY program, an initiative of the Ministry for Environment, Climate, and Energy of Baden-Württemberg which supports the installation of local electrolysers with integrated concepts for producing renewable hydrogen. This marks an important step toward expanding green hydrogen production in Baden-Württemberg – a key factor in achieving climate targets and driving the energy transition.

This week, during the event “Future of H2 Production in Baden-Württemberg”, the funding agreements were officially handed over by Thekla Walker, Baden-Württemberg’s Minister for Environment, Climate, and Energy.

With our fischer energy ecosystem, we will generate electricity from our own wind turbines at the Fautenbach site to power our plant and our own electrolysis system, producing hydrogen for diverse applications within the facility. Together with our partner GRZ Technology AG, we are implementing a holistic approach that includes a metal hydride storage solution – reducing energy costs, significantly cutting CO₂ emissions, and ensuring supply security for the site.
